Panzanella
INGREDIENTS
- Stale bread 
- ripe tomatoes 
- cucumber 
- red onion 
- basil leaves 
- extra virgin olive oil 
- balsamic vinegar 
- salt 
- pepper 
PREPARATION
- Tear the stale bread into bite-sized pieces and soak them in water for a few minutes, then squeeze out excess water. 
- Chop tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion into bite-sized pieces. 
- Mix bread pieces with the chopped vegetables and torn basil leaves. 
- Dress with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. 
- Let it sit for about 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
